Regulation 15(2): Notice of work regarded as commenced

If this notice relates to new dwellings (including flats or conversions that create dwellings) or student accommodation, and the initial notice was given on or after 1 October 2026, please use the Building Safety Levy commencement notice instead. For all other work, please continue below.

In accordance with Regulation 15(2) of the Building (Registered Building Control Approvers etc.) (England) Regulations 2024, the person carrying out the work is required to inform Build Insight that work has reached the stage when it should be regarded as commenced.
