Connor Beasley, our Apprentice Building Control Surveyor, will be running in the London Marathon on Sunday for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disorder that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. The condition causes a buildup of thick mucus in the lungs, leading to breathing difficulties, infections, and lung damage. Although there is no cure for cystic fibrosis, research is ongoing to find new treatments and ultimately a cure for the disease.
Connor is passionate about supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and has been training hard for the marathon. Which is a gruelling 26.2 miles! He has been dedicating many hours of his time to prepare himself both mentally and physically for the big day, and we know he will do an excellent job.
Connor says
“On Sunday the 23rd April 2023, I will be running the London Marathon for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. They are a great charity very close to my family’s heart. Plus they are doing amazing things for those living with CF.”
On behalf of the company, we would like to wish Connor the very best of luck in the marathon. We are proud of his dedication to this important cause and know that he will do us proud on the day. Go Connor!
