At Build Insight, we’re committed not just to safe and sustainable buildings, but to making a meaningful difference with our charity of the year support.. That’s why we’re proud to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2025 is Garden House Hospice in Letchworth.

Chosen by our staff, Garden House Hospice provides vital end-of-life care and support to patients and their families across North Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. Their compassionate work touches many lives, and we’re honoured to stand behind their mission throughout this year.

Our Marketing Manager, Rachel Legood, recently visited the hospice, where she was warmly welcomed by Kuljit Kaur. The building had such a friendly and inviting atmosphere, making it clear why this place is so special to the community. During her visit, Rachel had the opportunity to see firsthand some of the amazing activities the hospice provides, which bring comfort, connection, and support to patients and their families. Witnessing the dedication and care that goes into everything was wonderful.

To launch our support for Garden House Hospice, our Managing Director Amy Clulow joined forces with colleagues from across the Broste Rivers group to take on Muddy Mayhem—a lively, mud-filled obstacle course that tested both stamina and team spirit. It was a fantastic (and very muddy!) way to raise funds for such a meaningful cause. We’re very pleased the rain held off – take a look at some of our favourite moments from the day!

We’ll be sharing more throughout the year about how we’re supporting Garden House Hospice and how you can get involved too.
